The History of Egypt Podcast, moderated by Dominic Perry and found wherever good podcasts gather, is a fantastic blend of storytelling, music and, of course, ancient history, that never fails to engage me between song writiing and winding down. Egypt is a fascinating country with an enduring legacy that belies the rather mistaken belief that everything we know and hold dear today started in the West. There are mummies a'plenty, pharoahs, kings and more queens than can be found on Rue Paul's Drag Race, beer, music and much more besides. But dont take my word for it.
